Las Vegas fire officials say it's too soon to assess the damage, but it could have been a lot worse. A fire broke out on the roof of the 32-story Monte Carlo hotel-casino on the Vegas Strip on Friday, forcing its evacuation. Firefighters were able to get it under control in an hour and only minor injuries were reported.
